Benji entered "Happiest Rescue Dog" class at the show today - no prizes, but the judge said he looked "distinguished". Probably blew his chances when he got bored waiting for the decision and laid down for a belly rub!
He won a frisbee and treats on the tombola and we collected quite a selection of treats from pet shops giving out samples and leaflets. One of the groomers was offering free nail clipping so Benji had his dew claws done - rest of them were OK - think he wears them down himself with all the footballing and playing fetch. Nice day out - pity about the rain. We'll go in the car next time so there's somewhere to shelter and drink coffee.
